Cashew Casserole DeluxeGreat casserole idea using some Asian ingredients to give it pizazz!
1 C celery, chopped
1 C onion, chopped
6-8 mushrooms, sliced
1-12 oz can Fri-Chik, drained and diced (reserve liquid)
1 lg can crisp Chinese noodles
2-15 3/4 oz cans mushrooms soup
1 C milk
6-8 oz fresh bean sprouts
1 can water chestnuts, drained
2 C raw cashews
Cooked brown rice
Saute mushrooms, chicken, celery, onions. Combine cashews, Chinese noodles, water chestnuts, sprouts and reserve liquid from Fri-Chik. Mix ingredients, stirring well. Serve over brown rice.
