Candy Land DessertHere's a dessert that is a truly a childhood fantasy come true!
2 3/4-oz packages instant vanilla pudding mix
1 qt vanilla ice cream softened
2 C 1% low-fat milk
1 lb butter cookies, crushed
1/2 C butter, melted
1 8-oz container Cool Whip, thawed
3 Skor candy bars, finely chopped (optional)
In a large bowl, mix vanilla pudding, softened ice cream, and milk. Set aside.
In a large bowl, mix crushed butter cookies and melted butter. Spread evenly in to a 9" x 13" cake pan. Bake at 350° F for 15 minutes. Cool. Spread filling on top of cooled crust. Refrigerate overnight. Before serving spread Cool Whip over dessert and, if desired, sprinkle finely-chopped Skor bars over Cool Whip. Always keep refrigerated.
